Life Coaching - families can come together to work on a plan to reestablish harmony in the home. Four 75 minute sessions to achieve specific goals through developing better methods of communication and negotiation. These courses are not psychotherapy. Dr. Marshall, a psychiatric NP is available by appointment for therapeutic interventions with adolescents and adults. Individual, family, couple and group therapy available.

Eye on My Strength (c) 2001
EMS for 6-8 years olds concentrates on developing the individual strengths of the child. It fosters emotional intelligence through the facilitation of group work and acquisition of basic social skills. Problem-solving, decision-making and self-determined behavior are stressed.
EMS 10-12 transitional years, strategies for successful transition to Middle School focuses on developing a sense of positive outcome decision making through a research based curriculum. The course fosters resiliency, impulse control, self-determined behaviors that lead to academic and social success. Students work on their communication skills and time management and organization skill during group and individual games and activities. The students enjoy group and team work while discovering their unique social talents.
All programs are research-based. Dr. Marshall has 20 years experience working with individuals in developing an optimistic approach to life challenges. Dr. Marshall, a graduate of Dr. Martin Seligman's Authtentic Happiness Coaching Program (a positive psychology approach to living a rewarding and happy life) also provides private and corporate copnsultations.
Dr. Marshall, a psychiatric NP and professor at Montclair State University, has an earned Doctorate in Health Education from Columbia University, a masters of science in Psychiatric Nursing.
